Investors living across the seas and willing to invest in real estate sector back in Kenya need to worry no more.
This is because a Johannesburg-based real estate firm Paragon Group introduced a new architectural software solutions in Kenya.
The software will help developers and owners view concepts via virtual reality before breaking the ground.
The software can also be used by clients to market their products using the Rhino and Grasshopper 3D-generated prototypes. This is an excellent move as the home buyers and investors can view the house under a virtual reality before casting a coin.
“We are using a lot of 3D printing to make components that we cannot manufacture using traditional methods where the internal form-making is cutting-edge on a global level,” said Mr Orelowitz.
Paragon Group is currently carrying out several projects in Kenya among them a 24,000 square metre Crystal Rivers Mall owned by Safaricom Pension. The project which is located in Mavoko along Mombasa road costs Sh7.5 billion comprising 398 housing units.
The group who are the designers of the Kilimani 23-floor high-end residential development dubbed The Habitat also has other ongoing projects in Africa. These are Swaziland’s 160-room Hilton Garden Inn Hotel, and the Pullman Airport City Hotel and Apartment project in Ghana.
