WorldRemit, an international company, launched its services in Kenya in a bid to help SMEs, Kenyan entrepreneurs, and contractors to receive and make payments from the UK with ease.
WorldRemit which has its services in Ghana, South Africa, and over 150 other countries across the globe, will see its new service dubbed WorldRemit for Business helps registered businesses get payments within 24 hours from the UK.
The service makes it easy and faster for Kenyan entrepreneurs and contractors with clients in the UK receive funds within 24 hours while Entrepreneurs receive theirs via bank account, mobile money, or cash pick-up.
The Founder and Executive Chairman at WorldRemit, Ismail Ahmed explained the reason why he started the company saying “When I first started WorldRemit, I was frustrated with the high charges and long delays in sending money abroad both as a business owner and consumer.
