This year’s Atlanta Majuu business trip is set to be launched today during a cocktail at the Nairobi’s Serena Hotel. The event is planned to kick off from 1830 hours to 2030 hours during which presentations will be made.

The event which is in its 10th edition this year is aimed at converging entrepreneurs to network with Kenyans living in Atlanta, the locals who are interested in participating in the event and also the Atlanta chamber of commerce. Apart from business activities, the event also looks to appreciate and enhance cultural diversity and consciousness among the participants.

Just like other editions that normally take ten days, this year’s trip will commence from 23rd April 2019 to 4th May 2019. Excitingly, participants will apart from the business networks and wealthy presentations, enjoy a 4-day boat cruise from Miami to the Bahamas. The networking and business presentation will, however, be held in Atlanta while recreational activities will be carried out in Miami Florida.

“The trip will have several investment networking sessions both with Kenyans in the diaspora and the Atlanta chamber of commerce,” said the organizers of the event.

Participants from Kenya are expected to benefit from creating business partnerships with the European Union to marketing Kenyan products and getting penetration strategies to the broad United States market.

“In attendance will be key industry and business movers of Atlanta Georgia, members of the Atlanta chamber of commerce, Kenyans living in the USA willing to invest back home and church hill,” reads the organizer’s statement.

Atlanta hosts approximately 10, 000 Kenyans living in the United States which reflects a dynamic and growing Kenyan immigration population. While Kenya is generally a strategic market point to Africa, business networking is not only potentially viable for the traveling Kenyans but also the diaspora people who intend to invest back at home.

Registration for the Serena presentation cocktail is ongoing at a fee of Ksh1,000 and is refundable upon registration to the Atlanta trip. For further details visit info@atlantamajuu.com or call +254735777111.
