Taz technologies, the Kenyan innovators behind M Post, are the winners of this year’s South
Africa Innovation Summit that was held yesterday in Cape Town which also saw them pocket a
$17,500 worth funding.
The competition featured finalist from different African countries after showcasing products
before a selected panel.
The win means that M Post will represent the African continent at the Startup World Cup
scheduled to be held in San Francisco city, USA next year in May.
The World Cup will bring together other startups from America, Europe, Australia and even Asia
networking them with top leaders, mentors, and partners in the technology sector.
“This win crowns our journey of resilience and focus. We are privileged to carry the Kenyan and
indeed African flag to the Startup World Cup. We thank all our clients, supporters and indeed the
organizers of the South Africa Innovation Summit for believing in us. We couldn’t have gotten
here without your support,” said Abulaziz Mohammed, the Chief Executive Officer of Taz
