The Canadian Government on Wednesday issued the biggest number of innovations for permanent residence applications through the Express Entry program.
Canada Issued 4,500 ITAs in a draw held on February 19th with the minimum score points for the draw being 470, two points lower than the February 5th minimum Comprehensive Ranking Systems (CRS) score of 472 scores.
The Express Entry Program draws are held on a two-week basis with people issued with ITAs submitting their permanent residence applications. The program encompasses the three main Canadian skilled labor immigration categories- the Federal Skilled Trades Class, Federal Skilled Worker Class, and Canadian Experience Class.
The government collects and processes the applications for this program within six months, after which the qualifying applicants are allowed to migrate to Canada with their family permanently. The applicant has to ensure the required information is submitted together with any supporting documents.
February 19th draw was the fourth of 2020, and so far this year, 14,800 ITAs have been issued. The government has set a target of 85,800 ITAs for 2020.
