Kenya Society Dinner London

It provides a forum in the United Kingdom for anyone with an interest in Kenya, either after having lived or worked there, or with a professional, academic or commercial interest in the country .

Every year the society is Host to the Kenyan High Commision and his guests . Guest and Members are drawn from a cross section of the Kenyan communities and Friends . The event is keen to embrace the Natitionalist and Patriotic spirit of the Keyan community. It is an opportunity not only to network and share a positive note but also promote Kenya as a key investment hub and tourist Destination.

This year the event was lucky to Welcome the New High Commissioner  H.E Mr Lazarus Amayo who in his Speech did not forget to remind his guest how we have become a Hub for Business and innovation . Also present were Hon. William Kabogo Gitau, Governor of Kiambu County, Hon. Shakeel Shabbir, Member of Kisumu Town East, Mr. Ahmed Issack Hassan, Chariman of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission of Kenya, Dr Josephine Ojimabo, Deputy Secretary-General at the Commonwealth Secretariat and Ms. Elizabeth Kangethe, former Mayor of Barking & Dagenham.

The Chairman MR Patrick Orr of the Kenya Society was keen to encourage Kenyans to sign up . The Society continues to promote business and cultural events .
