Kenya in the past few years has recorded a rising number of Tech startup companies starting their businesses in the country, the recent being an Australian parking app kerb.
The app seeks to help homeowners earn a coin by renting their parking lots. The firm which has been around, offering car park management solutions to malls, schools and churches said that the app would play a key role in assisting homes, offices and areas with free parking to made good use of.
Motorbikes, boats, trucks, and helicopters owners haven’t been left out as the app founded in 2016 can still be used to rent and lease their spaces.
“Governments love Kerb because it reduces congestion and environmental impact by getting cars off roads, makes use of existing infrastructure — and means more money for locals to spend in the economy,” says Mr. Brown-
software developer .
“We’re excited about the benefits that Kerb is going to have for users.
“The app allows you to list an entire car park up in minutes, and each bay can be customized by availability, price and vehicle type.”
The app is available in 19 languages across 300 cities, so far.
